1b now going on two years since, he set
tled himself in Mobile. WitRin this pe^
riod he has made a reputation, noT-only
ns a good citizen but highly skilled in
his profession, and as a gentleman full
of integrity and speiai, courtesy.
. fou4deri.U2.tho special objeotion to
inything, which resembles quacaery that
prevails among the medical profession,
the numerous testimonials of-the merits
of Dr. Warner which have been given
by our best physicians are the highest
evidence of his. worth. It isn't every
one—even though he may be skillful—
that can get such testimonialii.
ConsidlriiMHbmMhilw the public
must conclude, that Dr. Warner is on-
hrely worthy 1 of its confidence.
Thus having a skilful and reputable
gentleman always at hand to cure the
ills of our feet, the next question is as to
the -miseries of those ills, ft is a very
poor or very moan man that will not se
cure the luxury whioh is at hand. We
suspect that corns, although endurable,
and not generally fatal to life, produce
just as much misery in the aggregate as
the aoutest disease. The evilfs infinite
ly trying to the temper. We have one
friend who seems to have no trouble ex
cept this. The result is, a naturally
sweet temper is made irroscible, and,
sometimes almost intolerable. We re
commend him to visit Dr. Warner. Ho
may regain his temper and appetite and
prolong his life by the skilful manipu
lations of that gentleman.
Col. Warren Akin.—AVe see it stated
that Col. Warren Akin has, at tlio car
nest entreaty of friends, conaentd to en
ter the canvass. Ho will do good ser
vice in the cause of Boll and Everett.
