Starved to Death in New York.
On Monday lost, in Now York, two per

in an emaciated and speechless condi

When to Skih Milk.—A dairy woman
.a Western New York speaks in this
emphatic tone as to the best tithe. She
nays that the right time to skim milk is
just as the milk begins to sou- in the bottom of
the pans. Then the cream is all at the
surface, and should bo removed—with
ns little of the milk as possible. If al
lowed to remain until the acid readies
the civ.am or to become thick, it dimin
ishes the cream and impairs it in quail-
ty. That housewife or dairy maid who
thinks to obtain a greater quantity by
allowing the milk to stand beyond that
time, labors under a most egregious mis-
-W-tukc. Any one who doubts this, lias Fornariicularo enquire at tills office,
only to try it to prove tho truth of this Address v ml WM. C. BTACY,
assertion. Milk should bo looked to at —*1i
least three times a day.

Douolasism Defined.— A Douglas
