Tliis is to certify that I had been afflicted
with Cancer of the under lip since February,
eighteen hundred and fifty-nino, and under
treatment from 2d July last up to tho 13th-
February lost; without much benefit. I suf-
fered-'a great deni of pain, frequently could
not sleep. On the 16th Febrntry last, I was
roliovedby Dr. Blake’s partner, Dr. Hadley;
Dr, Blake being absentfrom New York. Up
on my arrival thoro I was relieved of all my
cancor pains in about two hours, and have
not had any pains since. I consider myself
