creased demand arising therefrom, has made
arrangements with tho manufacturer for a
large and fail supply; and requiring greater
facilities for storago and other accommoda
tion, has taken the four story Wurehouso as
below, where he will bo able to supply any
quantity required, with promptness. He
may be allowod to express his satisfaction in
view of the fact that ot the numerous pur
chases mado of him by planters, generally
fortbe purpose of making comparative tests
with other fertilisers, not one caso has come
to his knowledge where onr Fertilizer bus
not shown a decided superiority. Planters
who have usod Mopes' Phosphate, now make
it their sole reliance, and aro ordering (some
of them) as much as fifty tons, for use tho
next season. This fact speaks for itself. We
have discovered a quality, developed in the
drouth, which was before unobserved, viz :
its hygrometrie power, or capacity, to ataorb
moisture from the atmosphere, whicli ofviat-
ed to a large extont the late unparalleled
drought where it was used, while moBt other
fertilisers wore not only valueless, but posi
tively iujurious to the plant Tho safety and
profit as a money investment, arising from
the use of Mape*'Phosphate, are now placed
beyond question, and the experience of the
past season, has established what wo have,
without hesitation, always assorted for it,
that is the only fertiliser reliable undqr all
circumstances of soil, mode of cultivation,
and of weather.
