Resignation is a rare grace among offi- oials. A Great Export Movement.—The ex ports from the port of New York for the post week, are valued at more than three million six hundred thousand dollars— larger, by nearly a million, than any previous week in the history of our commerce. Nearly or quite one-half of this great value was mode up of bread- stuffs, and included the following quan tities of domestio produce: 7,000 bales cotton, 90,200 barrels flour, 900,000 bu shels wheat, 845,000 pounds cheese, 43,- 240 gallons sperm oil, 13,000 barrels ros in, 2,278 hogsheads and cases tobpoco, 333,000'pounds manufactured tobacco, 318,000 pounds tallow, 4,200 bales hops.
