Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General
Assembly, That hereafter when any In
ferior oourt shall, in accordance with
the provisions of the .Code, draw Juries
for Iho Superior courts, said ' drawing
shall be-legal if done in time to perfect
servibe on said JUrors, nnd the require-
rnentr of the law am, in all otheressenT
tiul respects, compl.ed. wilh..
Sec.,2. That any Superior oourts
which tuny huvo been held with Jurors
drawn by the Inferior-courts in less
time I him sixty-doyh before the term
of said courts, are herdby, in all their
nots, declared legal r.nd valid.

and teachers of public or county
schools from road and Jury duty.
Sec. 1. .The General Assembly of the
State of Georgia enact, That ull Pro
fessors of any college, or teachers of
any county or public seboo s, in- this
State, are berebv exempted from ull
roud und Jury duty, so long as they are
engaged in teaching.
Sec. 2. Be it further equated, That
this act shall take effect from, and im
mediately alter its passage. ,

An act to repeal an act entitled an act
to inorease the per diem pay of teach
ers entitled to the benefit of the Poor
School fund of this Slate, assented to,
3rd March, 1865, and for other pur-
, poses.
Sec. 1. The General Assembly ef the
State of Georgia do enact, That from,
and immediately alter the passage of
this act, that the above recited act bo,
and tbe samp is hereby repealed.
Sec. 4. Repeals conflicting laws.

Note.—The act of 3d March,’ 18G5,
authorized ed/ioational boards' of the
several counties in this State, to allow
the teaoliers ol children entitled to the
benefits of the poor school fund, the
same per diem pay for 'teaching said
children,as is charged by them for
teachingotberchildren, pursuing simi
lar branches of studyr. provided, said
oharge shall not exeeed seventy-five
cents per day.
The act ot December 14th, 1803, is in
almost the same words, but with tl»e
proviso, that said oharge shall not ex
ceed sixteen oents per day.
