Poisoned
Tbrongb Mr. A. L, Birdsong, we
learn that on Sunday morning last, a
little son of Mr. Wm. Anderson,
who lives near May.QcId, 3 or
4 years old, got hold of u bottle of very
poisonous medicine, one </ro/> of which
was a dose for an adult, and drank
about half of what ivng in the bottle, of
about an ounce size. Dr. Baker, acorn
petent and reliable physician, was im
mediate y summoned, and at last uc
count iie was still alive, but vety little
hope of recovery f wat entertained. We
sympathi-c ... with the . parent*,and equal
ly with the little boy. This is another
stern wnr-’ing to careless parent*.—
Keep your poisonous medicines where
innocent children can't get them.
