Parsley for IShkep.— I sow parsley all
through my grass land, and never lav down
any land to clover in the spring hut I sow
parsely with it. It is the best fond for
sheep there is, keeps them healthy, and
fattens them with wonderful rapidity. Ol
course I- dop’t.sow enough to smother tie
grass* but I take care there is shma all
through it, and the sheep will find it out,
and never leave a bit of it they can help it
The cows arid eattlc-are also very fond n't
it, but it is the fj r test for sheep, as it does
them the most good. The only thing to be
guarded against is to keep the breeding
ewes from getting too much. They fatten
so fast that it stops their breeding, which
is of <* tp*e a 1055.,. But I an* ireful to-
W' p the breedibjjt ewes if it ns much as 1
can. It does well for lambs, however, and
for weathers and fattening ewes nothing is
equ-il to it. I find that it does better for
grain. It also produces heavy fleeces of
wool. Car. Tor on'o Globe.
