To the Editoes of the Herald : Mr. Emanuel Finley died of paralysis Sat urday morning at 1 o'clock, at his residence, near Greenville. He was a truthful, honest, generous citizen and friend, aud an affection ate father. He was buried at Antioch church, six miles east of Greenville, at 3 o’clock Sun day afternoon. There was a large assemblage at the burial. A day or two since Mr. Woodruff was, it is thought, fatally stabbed by a Mr. Maxwell. Cause—something in regard to spending the night at Woodruff’s house. Col. Geo. L.
