Rejected Lovers. There m in Nashville, Tennessee, what is known as the Club of Rejected Lovers, ac cording to the Union newspaper of that place. It seems that the qualifications for member ship of this club are simply wbat the name of the institution purr *'•!•» the fiavt of Hiing been rejected or discarded by a young iadv, together with a fair average social standing and personal repute. Whatever may be said of clubs of this sort, they are at least a social innovation. Whether tbe example of the luckless swains of Nash ville will find following elsewhere remains to be told. There is no lack of material for a , (Hub of Rejected Lovers in any city, and it is our impression tbat an institution of tbe kind could be organized in Atlanta that would contest the palm for bonhomie and manhood of its membership, notonly with any similar clubs that might be organized elsewhere, but with au3’ social organization of any sort.
