t had so nearly subsided that, unwilling to ;
disappoint Lhe spectators. Holey prepared to 1
make the ascension. The folds of the bal-!
toon were distended over a biisk fire, and as ;
the air in it became rarified it began to tag i
at the ropes which held it to the ground. I

livery of tho said Joseph Hendrix and the said George
Hendrix to the Sheriff of said County end State. And
I do moreover charge and require all officers la this
State, Civil and Mdttary, to be vigilant in endeavoring

order that they may be brought to trial for the offense
