ATLANTA MEDICAL COLLEGE. |1HE SIXTEENTH REGULAR COURSE OF LF.C- Very often a child gets the impression that there is something in his physical, mental or moral condition, nnlike that of other children, that places him at a disadvantage, and he is disheartened at the thought. Very likely there may be some peculiarity, but the point is to overcome, and to teach him to overcome that disadvantage, and to rise above iL Unhappily, however, wo often aggravate and increase the trouble by our course of treatment. We deal with the child as rude and thoughtle s persons do with one who has a blemish on bis face, or sirne other bod ily defect, noticing and commenting upon it until h ri made tenfold more hard to be i borne, and the sufferer made sensitive even j to look upon his infirmity. The Hotel ck Bainbridge, near the corner of Ninth and Delaware streets, which has long been known as the resort of several frail ladies, was yesterday the scene of a lively row, which resulted in the arrest of the wo men who participated. A man named Un derwood and his wife have rooms in the build ing, which are “let ont” to men for a longer or shorter period ; and it seems that a girl named Kate owed Mrs. Underwood a dollar for one of the rooms, the “gentleman” hav ing failed to pay for it. A pair of bracelets, however, belonging to the girl, had come into Mrs. U.’s possession, and when Mrs. Pettitt, a traveling actress who had a room in the honse, demanded the bracelets for her friend Kate, a row’ ensued between the j __ women, Mrs. P.’s husband arriving on the scene in time to deal a blow or two at Mrs. Underwood, who was the larger woman. The police were calied in, and the two females marched to the calaboose, where they both ( gave bonds for their appearance.
