Louis Mutual Life Insurance Company was broke, and sundry policy holders at Macon would lose what they had paid, Ac., when in your paper tS the 10th inst. we published a dispatch from Mr. Lewis, the President, in reply to one to him, that the Com pany was solvent, and that injunction would be re moved. Does your agent st Macon know more about the Company than Die President and Directors ? Is asking an injunction which was temporarily granted any evidence that a company is bankrupt? It is time enough when the injunction is granted permanently, and a redever appointed to assert the company is broke, not before, and should the company resume business, aa we believe it will, your agent will luve asserted what was not true, and will have damaged, so far as he and yonr paper could a company that Las paid over two bun* dred and fifty thousand dollars at this agency to wid ows and orphans.
