Immigration Company.
A N act of the Legislature of Georgia having au-
/\ tuor.zed the formation of a Company “To facil
itate the sale of Real Estate in Georgia, and to encour-
ace immigration thereto,” the undersigned propose to
carry out the purposes of the grant by presenting to
the public prizes in the form of real estate, both in
town or country, to be drawn for on tLo iccond
Wednesday in January, 187-1.
Parties desiring of soiling Real Estate are invited to
address the Company, describing the properly and
the price they arc willing to take therefor,
i The following extract from the law will explain the j
| plan and purposes of the Company:
r “Any person desirous to sell or dispose of his, her j
or their real estate through the said Land Agency by j
Lottery, or otherwise, shall before doing so fully des- I
j crlbe same as to the number of acres, and If a city lot j
! the number of feet, its boundaries, character of the j
; improvements and county in which located, so it can j
J be fully identified; shall then place a fair valuation
thereon, which vela&tioa shall be certified to by two
difrictereeted citizens of the county or neighborhood
in which tho land is located, and when UiC3e prerequi
sites are complied with an l the property offered for
sale or lottery by the said land agency. The party or
parties having the control of said land and improve
ments shall bind themselves in a good and sufficient
bond to said land agents, or their successors, to make
a valid tiGa thereto to whoever may be the drawer or
purchaser thereof but no obligation to m^ko titles
given to raid parties shall be of any force or effect for
a longer period than six months, unless tho valuation
affixed to the property shall be tendered within the
said term cf six months from the date of said bond,
whenever the said Land Agents or their 8uc:e?s0’-s shall
tender to the owner or controller thereof,
