Til<6 MATTER DECIDED.
The Executive Committee Laving spoken
decisively, as will be seeu by reference to an
other column of lo-.lay’s Herald, we shall
yield to its mandates, and cease opposbion to
Col. Spencer as a candidate for Mayor.
The citizens of Atlanta Lave much to be
thankful for, when reviewin' the results of
the late election. A good ticket of Aldormen
has been secured, and we may bo reasonably
assured of a good government for the ensuing
year.
There will hardly be an opprsitson ticket
put into the field, and we predic t for the nom
inated candidates a pleasant “walk over the
course” on the 4th of December next.
