Words ran high, when one of them drew a pistol and fired twice, both shots taking effect in his antagonist's head. The murderer then tied, bnt was hotly pursued by two brothers of the murdered man, who, on overtaking him a few miles from the place of difficulty, riddled his body with buck snot, causing bis instant death.” Weston (Ya.) Democrat: “On Friday the wife of George Brown, a colored man residing in this place, gave birth to a child. On the Sunday following, probably 18 hours af ter the occurrence narrated above, she gave birth to another.
