The best evidence of tbo good tasto of tbe
Atlanta public is to be found in tbo material
that comprises her emporiums ami repoeilo-

induced to enter tho book store of J. W.

day, and arbilo viewing the extensive reper
tory of literary ami variety attractions that
wero so temptingly and artistically arranged,
wo wero forcibly struck with tho txcellcDt
taste that had been displayed in tbo selection
of the goods. Tbe Btook of new and novel
style envelopes, paper, cards, otc., was par
ticularly noticeable. Tho Royal Irish Linen
paper, with its corresponding envelopes of
the new nnd increased style, is the most at-
traotivo we have ever scon. In addition to
this thero is a general Assortment of “Ca-
mess,” Piries, “Kan du nil,” Pearl laid. Az
ure, Primrose, Violet, Amber, Blonde, Cali-
donia, Gray, etc., with envelopes to snit. An
other leuture ot style is the introduction of
tbe legal cap, oblong, snparoading the initial,
thie is a decided improvement. To enumer

card oaiee, beautiful albums, etc., would fill
