On Sunday morning last, two highly re- j

notor-ou-ly bad negro, who was sitting there
with a number of other colored men, as fol
lows :
“Good mornin’ ladies. You look mighty

you. 1 know who yon is—you is no body
but - - — ’s folks.”
By this time the ladies had passed the
crowd, bnt feeling alarmed, turned and walk
ed buck towards home, when the scoundrel
continued:
“Whar yen gwine now? Yon needn’t get
mad about it, I intend to have one of you.
The time is come for the niggers to have
white wives,—I mean what I say. We intend

Railroad appertaining or belonging, or hold by said
defendant. Ah well as all other property, both real
aud persona 1 ., ot naid defenduit the s.ud Molina. Rome
and Dsltou Railroad Comptny, of whatever kind, now
io the |possession and control of Thos. A. Walker and
John Tucker. Receivers, which is or may be in the
hands and possession of said receivers in the 8*.ate ol
Georgia, consisting of ail that part of tho rolling stock
of said Railroad, engines, cars of all kinds, box. flat,
baggage, oboe—, hand, passenger and other* earn,
and all tools, Rcales. loose iron and all other personal
dollars of the pur .base money to be paid in cash on
the day oi sale. Tho balance of the purchase money
shall at such time, not exceeding six month*, as shall
ho appointed by the Commissioners, he paid in cash
or by a credit of tne amount ol such balance placed
on tii© jud-'inont of foreclosure, in said cause, on the
flrat mortgage or the bonds secured iherby of the
said Selma, Rome aud Daiton Railroad Company,
dted thousand dollars. But the said Con
reserve tbe right to have any sale made lor a loss sum
than five hundred thousand dollars aflirmed, provi
ded the Chancellor of said Court may deem the same
right aud proper and shall approve the same.
Upon full compliance with the terms of sale, titles
to tiiu property wili be mad* to the purchaser by the
Commissioners. Should ihe purchaser or purchasers
fail to comply with tho terms ol sale, ho or they shall
forfeit any sum peid ov» r or secured, aud the aaid
Commissioners upon such failure reserve the right
immediately, or upon such notice as they may de»-m
proper, to re sell said property, both real and per-
onal, of sal I Selma. Rome and Dalton Railroad Com
pany upon such terniB as they aliali agree on.
