The fever seems to be gradually spread

exempt. Michael Athy, Brother of Chief
of Polios Athy, was taken sick last night,
and it is thought he has tbs fever. Citi
zens continue to leave the city in large
numbers. The authorities are still look
ing about for a site on which to establish
a camp.
Louisville, July 23 —Tho health offi
cers discovered two cases of yellow fever
in this city yesterday afternoon, both of
which were brought from Memphis—
Mrs. Samuel Eckers, wife of the barber
who died in Memphis several days ago,
and who came to Louisville on Sunday,
is ill at the residence of a friend on Story
Avenue in the eastern part of tuecity;
and the other case is thatof Miss Suing,
aleo a refugee from Memphis, who is re
siding with relatives on Portland Avenue:
Beth cases are of a mild type, and there
is no excitement over their discovery.
There are no oases of local origin in the
city.
Owbston, Kt., July 23 —The Jaty In

Wilmington, N. C, July 23.—The

The steamer Regulator, which struck
an obstruction inside the bar yesterday,
was towed to the city to day. Her cargo
is uninjured.
