morning the body of a man was washed
ashore near the light bouse at Cariboo
island and a schooner bottom upwards

Baum has written a letter to J. H. Van
Aullen, iaepsotor of internal revenue as

partment considers immoral and incon
sistent with the dignity of an official,

self-defense, and the prisoners were dis

alleged seduction of James’ daughter, and
the subsequent shooting of his son by
