Butts found his fine pointer and terrier dead on his premises. .Some seven or eight i»et dogs have been killed in this way within the past three or four days. It Is thought that some slow poison or ground glass is the material used. The killing or such dogs as arc mentioned above indicates that it is done for the pur- jiose of removing them from a lot so as to give a clear opportunity for theft. The recent attempted burglaries confirm this impression. There are several suspicious characters in the city on whom the police are keeping a close watch. 5ZZ Mnrringc on Clicrry Street. Dunwody’s office. A large crowd assem bled to witness the ceremony. Judge Sawyer rose to the importance of the oc casion, and entrenched behind the Code and Cobb’s Statutes, he firmly tied the knot in the most approved fashion, though trembling with emotion at the novelty ot the situation and the realization of his new honors. It is a most agreeable dressing, which Is at once harmless and effectual, for preserving the hair. It restores,- with the gloss and freshness of youth, faded or gray, light, and red hair, to a rich brown, or deep black, as may be desired. By its use thin hair is thickened, and baldness often though not always secured. It checks falling of the hair immediately, and causes a new growth in all cases where the glands are not decayed; while to brashy, weak, or otherwise diseased hair, it imparts vitality and strength, and renders it pliable. The Vigor cleanses the scalp, cures and prevents the formation of dandruff; and, by its cooling, stimulating, and soothing properties, it heals most if not all of the humors and diseases peculiar to the scalp, keeping it cool, clean, and soft, under which conditions diseases of the scalp and hair are impossible. As a Dressing for Ladies’ Hair, The Vigor is incomparable. It is color less, contains neither oil nor dye, and will not soil white cambric. It imparts an agreeable and lasting perfume, and as an article for the toilet it is economi cal and unsurpassed in its excellence. ruurxnrD nr DU. C.
