Editore Telegraph and Meuenger: In onr harried letter of yesterday, I forgot to say that among the losers by the fire of night before last, were Mr. Worfol, wbo had a tin shop in the rear of J. G Gibson's store, and J. N. Bollard, who owned the building—or rather the two narrow buildings connected together in which Braw & Alford were doing bumnees. In praising the men who stood on the roof of the brick bn.ldmg. They all seemed determined to go to work again immediately. Tho losers have the sympathy of the whole community, bnt we are all thank* fnl that it is no worse. DIED, November 10,1871, at tbe residence of liia son. Dr. W. IV. Ford, in the city of Macon, Bev. John S. Foan, one of tbe oldeet ministers and members of tbe Georgia Conference. He was .born in Booth Carolina, February 6,1790. Mr. Ford waa the oldest member of tbe Georgia Conference except Dr. Lovick Pierce, and they were young men together in the ministry—both members of tbe 8outh Carolina Conference eomo tune before the Georgia Conference was organ ized. He joined the ministry at the age of 19 years, and has been an earnest, devoted woiker in tbe same from then until bodily strength failed.
