The following intoxication -toast was
offered by a Mr. Stearns, at a festival
given to a National Division of the Sons
of Temperance at WashingtonThursdav
night: “Woman—more beautiful than

spirit of she age—she is far more intox
icating. than wine; we love her and she
can’t help herself.”
The following is a-copy of a will left
by a man who chose to be his owe law
yer : “This is the last will and testa
ment of me, John Thomas. I give all
my things to my relations, to be divided
among them the best way they can. N.

makes any fuss about it, he isn’t to hare
