She had been troubled for years with a dis ordered liver, and bad digestion. On the last occasion, however, the virulence of the attack was so alarming* and th«s inflammation set in so severely, that doubts were ehtertained of her not being able to bear up un der it f fortunately, she was induced to try your Pills, and she informs me that after the first, and each suc ceeding dose, she had great relief. She continued to take them, and although she used only three boxes, she Is now in the enjoyment of perfect health. AN EXTRAORDINARY CURB OF RHEUMATIC FEVER IN VAN DIEMXN’S LAND. Copy of a Letter inserted in the Hobart Town Cou rier, of the Ist March, 1851, by Major J. Walch : Margaret M Connigan, nineteen years of age, resi ding at New Town, had been suffering from a violent rheumatic for upwards of two months, which had tjntirely' deprived her of the use of her limbs; during this period she was under the care of the most eminent medical men in Hobart Town, and by them her case was considered hopeless. A friend prevailed upon her to try Ho'loway's celebrated Pills, which she cons ented to do, and in an incredible short space of time they effected a perfect cure. August 2d, 1851: To Professor Holloway: Sir, —I desire to bear testimony to the good effect of Holloway's Pills. OGLESBY as the superintendent, together with other experienced mechanics, I have establish ed a large COTTON GIN FACTORY, at tho Sh< als of Ogeechee, Ga., where I am prepared to make and furnish the Planter with tho best article in tho way of a COTTON GIN now produced in this country. Mr. Oglesby’s time, devoted exclusively in the shop, and seeing to the putting up of every Gin under his special direction, and attaching all tho improvements which he (Mr. Oglesby,) has got ten up within the last two years, I am satisfied I can supersede any made heretofore, in quantity, quality and durability. All old Gins, (when sent to the shop,) will be repaired, and all the improvements attached if de sired, at a reasonable charge. As there has been some complaint of my Gins, made during the last two years : an explanation to you in relation to this matter is duo Mr. Cheely. I have been absent a great portion of this time, on a visit to the North, experimenting and getting up a new Gin, as well as improving, tho original Saw Gin, together with suitable machinery for this business, to its highest perfection, as will bo ac knowledged by all who have used them, both in durability and quality of Cotton. I shall now devote my individual attention in tho shop, and seo that every part of each Gin is put up in the neatest possible manner ; in short, I shall make the orginal Oglesby Gin, which has beon so celebrated for durability and fine Cotton, having taken the premium in this State as well as that of South Carolina in every instance except one, and then it was said by foreign dealers that my Cotton was of a superrior quality. In conclusion, my late improvements added to my former Gins, cannot fail to give entire satisfaction. I will alter any old Gins, (not too much worn,) to do bettor work than it ever did before.
