TRATOR’S SALE.
AGREEABLE to an order of the Ordinary of
Bibb county, will be sold, to the highest bid
der, before the Court house door, in the city of
Macon, on the first Tuesday, in November next,
the celebrated Plantation known as tho “Red
Bluff Place.”
It is eleven milc a from Macon, at the confluence
of the Ocmulgec River, and Echcconna Creek. It
contains nineteen hundred (1900) acres, of which,
elevenhu” hcu (1100) are cleared, and four hun
dred am fitly (450) superior river bottoms. Upon
the place, are excellent Gin house, Overseers house,
Negro houses, a Bulloch Press, and valuable fishe
ry. In short, the place is well improved, and rea
dy for making good crops. It abounds in the finest
pasturage and range, and presents great advantages
lbr stock raising. Terms on the day of sale. It
may be examined and treated for privately; sold
as the property of A. C. Morehouso, deceased, for
the benefit ot his heirs and creditors.

NOTICE is hereby given that from and after
the 20th inst., the following section of the
General Ordinance will be rigidly enforced.
SECTION SEVENTEENTH.
It shall not be lawful for any person or persons to
fire a gun, pistol, or any other fire arms, within
three hundred yards of any house or public road,
except in case of military parade. Persons offen
ding against this section shall be fined in a sum not
exceeding twenty dollars.
