of the “ Southern Central Agri
cultural Society,” willl bo hold in

commencing Oetoborl 7, 1853.
The Secretary’s office will bo opened at Augus
ta, ou the Ist of October, for the purposo of receiv
ing entries.
Entries of Live Stock, or any other articles, may
be forwarded to “ Secretary of Southern Central
Agricultural Society, Augusta, Goorgia.” per mail,
any time after first of October. All articles thus
forwarded, should bo carefully labelled the with ow
ner’s name and residence.!
Miscellaneous Articles should bo on tho Fair
Grounds as early as Saturday, Oct. 15 ; but ani
mals may be brought forward at anytime previous
to 9 A. M., on Tuesday, October 18.
All articles intended for exhibition only, will be
transported to and from the Fair, by tho different
Railroads, free of charge, and visitors to the Ex
hibition will only bo required to pay one fare go
ing and returning. This arrangement will com
mence on tho 12tb, and end on tho 22d of October
—thus allowing ample time for the transfor of all
stock and articles of every description to and from
the Show Grounds- Tho rates of board at the dif
