PARKHURST’S GINS.
TITHE undersigned, inventor of Parkhurst’s Cot
-1. ton Gin, which gins Cotton without saws or
riba, begs leave to inform Cotton Planters and all
others interested in raising Cotton, and proparing
it for market, that the superiority of his machine
over all other machines for Ginning Cotton is fully
established.
It is operated with less power and produces' a
bettor staple of Cotton than any other machine;
and at tho same time gins with groat rapidity.
The introduction of the carding principle in the
charring of Cotton from the seed will create a new
era in the history of this most important staple.
In preparing this important improvement many
mechanical difficulties have presente4 themselves
from time to time, which have been wholly over
come, and these machines are offored to the pub
lic in the full confidence that they will be received
with unparalled favor.
S. R. PARKHURST.
This machine will bo on exhibition and in op
eration on the Fair Grounds dering the Fair. If
planters will take the trouble to bring with them
a few pounds of Seed Cotton, they can have it
ginned, and compare it with that made from their
own Gins. ts oct 14
