SPECTACLES.
IF YOU will and must wear SPECTACLES, get
them exactly suited to the eye, or they will do
more harm than good. THE OPTOMETER is an
instrument invented by Prof Stampfer, of the

measuring with scientific exactness the degree of
convexity the eye had lost by age, and it applies
accurato numbors of glasses to counteract the de

The fact in regard to the improvement in my
sight by the use of your Cups are these :
I was wearing GLASSES o 18 inches focus—l
have had them change twice; and am now wri

which? is* the lowest magnifying power used by
Messrs. Pike. I can now read common print with
ease with the lowest magnifying glasses. I Favo
used them agreeably to your directions about four
weeks. I see not why I may not expect, in a short
time, tohavo my sight quite restored by coni, lin
ing the use of the cups I cannot bur, m- ru this
discovery as of great value. Yours, truly,
(Signed) C. G. Finn. y.
