(tho first boat of this line) to tho merchants of
Georgia and Carolina, Alabama and Tennossoo,
we would ask for her that patronage which her
construction and light draught of water merits.
The P&sbion is s home enterprise and owned ex
clusively bv Capt T. N. Phiipot (her commander)
and myself, whose entire attention will he given to
tho interest of her patrons.
This boat was built in this city, and great care
has been taken in her construction to mako her
worthy of the trade for which sho is intended.
Her capacity is about 2000 bales Cotton, hor
draught of water only 13 inches, which will enable
her at all soasomof the year, to deliver herfroight
promptly.
Her entire cargo will be taken between docks,
which will not only provont damage to good? ip
caso of snazging, but will add much to the condi
tion of packages discharged from her. Mr. M. A.
Cohen is tho of this line in Savannah, where
suitable wharves and warehouse have been provi
ded in a contral situation for tho reception of Cot
ton, Merchandize, Ac.
