Wonderful and Extraordinary Cure
{■L of Rheumatism of twenty years' stand
ing—Never in my life have I had so much pleasure
in deing any thing as in giving this certificate to
the world, and 1 hope it may be the cause of thou
sand; of my fellow creatures being relieved from
that dreadful disease, Rheumatism. My wife has
been afflicted with it for twenty years, most of the
time suffering excruciating pairs in every part
of her body. Having no appetite whatever, she
was reduced to almost a skeleton. So violent were
the pains that she seldom could sleep without tak
ing large doses of opium. Every joint was swelled
very much, and her knees, hauls and neck covered
with large lumps. She could do no kind of work,
the sinews and muscles being so hard and contract
ed that her limbs were drawn togethor, so that she
wasobigedto be in bed constantly. In this condi
tion she had been for twenty years, without ever
getting any relief from every thing she used, until
she commenced the use of li. G. Farrell's Arabian
Liniment, the first bottle of which produced a great
change. She has now used five bottles, and the
swellings have nearly all gone down; pain has en
tirely left her; she sleeps well and soundly; is
more fleshy than ever she was in her life; has an
excellent appetite, and spins and sews all day. By
the use of a few bottles more she mus bo as well as
ever she was. If any one doubts this wonderful
cure, he has only to call at my residence, near Pe
oria, and learn the circumstances from my wife’s
own lips, or he can further enquire of any of my
neighbors. Samuel Elson.
« 11. G. Farrell's Liniment is also an excellent rem
edy for palsy, sprains, bruises, eramps, chilblains,
burns, pains, toothache, sore eyes, etc., and in
horses or cattle is the best remedy in the world
where an external application is required.
Look out for Counterfeits. —The public are can
tioned against another counterfeit, which has late
ly madeit3 appearance, called W. B. Farrell s Ara
bian Liniment, the most dangerous of all the coun
terfeits, because his having the name of FarroP,
many will buy it in good faith, without the knov -
ledge that a counterfeit exists, and they will, pci*-
haps, only discover their error when the spurious
mixture has wrought its evil effects.
The genuine article is manufactured only fey H
ft. Farrell, solo inventor and proprietor, and whole
sale druggist, No. 17 Main street, Peoria, Illinois*
to whom all applications for Agencies must be ad
dressed. Bo suroyou get it with the letters H. G.

hissiguature on the wrapper, and all others are
counterfeits. Sold by

Worms.—As this is the season of the ]
year when worms are most formidable >
among children, the proprietors of McLano's Ver- ,
mifuge beg leave to call the attention of parents to
its virtues for too expelling of these annoying and
often fatal enemies of children. It was invented
ty a physician of great experience in Virginia, ■
"Ho, after having used it for several years in his
own practice, and found its success so universal, 1
was induced ct last to offer it to the public as a 1
cheap but certain and excellent medicine. It has
duee become justly popular throughout the United
itates as the most efficient Vermifuge over known,
and the demand has been steadily on the increase
since its first introduction to the public.

LIVERPOOL, Nov. 11.—The sales this week
amount to 45,060 bales, including 9,100 on specu
lation, 3060 for export, £nd the remaining 32,900
to the trade. Prices of the current qualities of
American are about $d dearer.
Politics have exercised less influence on our mar
ket. Tho Turks now appear stroDg enough to set
tle matters themselves, and foreign interference
mav be superfluous.
The foreign exchanges arc, with exception of
America, against us, but through a contracted bu
siness money has become more abundant, and ac
commodation is easily obtainable at lower terms.
'lhe Canada and Atlantic brought accounts of
frost and higher prices. The telegraphic accounts,
per Arabia, of middling having declined to Bsc.
was incorrect. At all events there is now less
chance of importing Cotton at low prices, and hold
ers have consequently been less pressing with their
stocks on the market, and there is also more incli
nation to speculate. Cheap lots are soon cleared
off, and prices have been creeping up l-16d. to Id.
per lb.
V e have now only 25,C00 bales afloat, and shall
perhaps not get more than 100,000 bales this year.
The stock of American is 386,790, against 261,620,
and of all sorts 681,660 against 470,150 bales last
year. Tho increase consists chiefly of lew dirty
American and Surat Cotton.
Spinners held this time last year large stocks,
and if these were deducted from our present stock,
it would show a considerable decrease in the mid
dling grades of American. Clean and good staple
middling is very scarco and difficult to be met with
at the quotations,
To-day we have had a very good demand, and
the sales sum up 7 a 8000 bales.
The Manchester market has been steadier this
week, but tbe transactions are limited.

at 9: 25 at 9J; 65 at 9J; 74 at 9J; 142 at 10; 5 at

on prices.
