IV[OTICE is hereby given that Bookg of Sub
ll scription to the Capital Stock of this Compa
ny, chartered for the purpose of completing a Rail
Roa t communication from Augusta, through Mil
ledgeville to Macon, will bo opened at the several
places named below, on and after Monday, the I2th
day of December next, under the superintendence

THE subscriber having removed from the

PLANTATION, situated on the Savannah
River, about ten miles above Hamburg, and in tho
fork of said river and Stephens’ Creek, and abou?

The Tract contains about Three Thousand, Four
Hundred and Fifry acres, recently surveyed and
platted, about ono-third of which is cleared and in
cultivation, the balance is well wooded and heavi
ly timbered.
This tract of land lies throe miles and a quarter
on the aiver above tho mouth of Stephen’s Creek,
and has a large body of rich alluvial swamp land,
above the reach of ordinary freshets.
The premises are divided into two plantations or
settlements, one at a convenient distance from the
river, and the othor on the Stephens’ Creek lands,
with Gin Houses, Packing Screws, and the usual
buildings attached to each.
I prefer to sell tho plantation entire; but being
determined to sell, and with a view to accommo
date, I will, if desired, divide the lands into sec
tions, or lots, to meet the wishes and suit tho con
venience of purchasers.
And if desired, the stock of Horses, Mules, Cat
tle, and the provision crop, will bo sold on very fa
