I have used Dr M Lane’s Worm Specific in my

unparalled success with which I have prescribed
its use, both for children and adults induces me to
Bay the most in its favor of any specific or patent

in my opinion, a decided advantage over any other
medicine of the kind before the public.

FOR SALE.
subscriber being permanently loca- jggh
J. ted at Longstreet, Pulaski county, Ga., Ski
is desirous to draw his Farming interest nearer
home.
As such, he offers his Place in Dooly county for
sale, on accommodating terms. The place lies be-'
tween the two Pennahatchee Creeks, and contains
700 acres of as good farming land as can bo found
in Southwestern Georgia. There are about 400
acres of open land, and all well watered. Upon
the place was an excellent well, which can now be
repaired at a small expense. Around, there is ex
cellent society, church privileges, Ac., there being
five churches within five miles. Being 17 miles
from Montezuma, 27 miles from Ilawkinsville, con
venience to market, either in Macon or Savannah,
is offered. In a word, there are many advantages
connected with the place, which, when considered,
with its healthiness and fertility of soil, Ac., con
spire to make it one of the most desirable farms in
Southern Georgia. I would invite any one desir
ing a good Farm, to visit the place arid examine
the growing crop. Should any wish more land
than I own, he can get from 400 to 1,600 acres
more. It lies within 3 miles of Vienna, and any
one wishing to examine the premises, can do so by
applying to Mr. E. Way, upon the place, or to my
self at this place, when I will go with them over
it, and show them all connected with it.

SINGER’S SEWING MACHINES,
WHICH are the only Sewing Machines of any
utility which can be used without making
the owner liable to a suit for infringement of pa
tented privileges are still sold at reasonable prices,
ami with unquestioned right.
Having terminated our legal controversy with
Elias Howe, Jr , and procured his full license to use
his invention, there is not tho slightest claim that
our machines infringe any other patent. >-
Tho right to uso the Machines which wo have
sold, and shall hereafter sell, is unquestionable.
Wo own ten distinct patonts on Sewing Machines,
covering all the nice points of the invention, and
all the Machines of other manufacturers infringe
one or more of thorn. Our patent securing the
spring wheieby the cloth, Ac., is held to the feed
ing apparatus by a yielding pressure, is infringed
by all the Machines now offered in the market.
Those who buy tho inferior and piratical machines,
aro hereby distinctly apprised that we shall com
pel them to pay us for the privilege of using them.
Our legal rights will henceforth be rigidly enforced.
The immense superiority of Singer s Sewing
Machines has been completely established. They
are of universal application—the same Machine
doing all kinds of work, and doing it perfectly.
They are not only superior in contrivance, but un
equalled in mechanical finish. They perform all
work required, and continue to do it without get
ting out of ordor. We desire to call attention par
ticularly to our now Machines to sow with a single
thread, which, by ample trials, have been proved
superior to all others sos stiching linen and all very
j thin fabrics—also for sewing leather, either with a
I waxed thread or silk—and for quilting linings. We
are al3o prepared to exhibit and sell Embroidering
Maohines, producing an entirely new and very
