GUY SO ITS TELLOW-DOCK AND SARSAPARILLA, IS now put up in the largest sized bottles, and is ac- to be the best Sarsaparilla made, as is certified by tue wonderful cures it has performed, the original copies of which are in the possession of the proprietor. Remember, this is the only true and ori ginal article. Scrofula. Syphilis, Mercurial Complaints, Cancer, Gan grene. Rheumatism, and a vast variety of other dis eases, are speedily and perfectly cured by the use of this medicine. READ THE FOLLOWING CEUTIFCATE. Tallapoosa Cocntt, Ala., Jan. 2,1852. Dear Sir: —l send you this to certify to you that' vour Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla has per formed one of the most wonderful cures on me that has ever been effected on m in. I have been afflicted for forty years with eruptions on my legs and feet; in 1848 they got so bad that 1 had to go on crutches, and in 1049 l had one leg amputated above the knee. In about nine months after my other leg broke out-in large eating and running sores from my knee to my foot, and discharged a great deal of of fensive matter. My groin also broke out in large biles, which discharged much offensive matter, and at the same time my left hand broke out in large running sores nearly to my elbow. The misery that 1 have suffered for the last two years I cannot describe to you. 1 was in such agony that 1 never rested day or night. In October last my son brought me one of your bot tle wrappers; I read it. and found record of some won derful cures performed by your “ Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla.” 1 sent and got two bottles of it. and commenced takiug it. In two weeks, to my great astonishment, my sores all became easy, and I could sleep all night, a thing I had not done for two years. When 1 had taken six bottles, my sores had snarly all healed. My sores got well as if by enchant ment. 1 have now used, in all, eight bottles of your Extract| of Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla,” and I now consider myself well. I entreat all of the afflicted to try this Medicine, for believe it will cure any known disease in the world. Lay aside all prejudice gnd just try it. and proc aim its great worth to suffering mankind, and entreat them to take it. for it will curethem. My case is well known in a large portion of South Carolina Georgia and Alabama, and if any should doubt ihe above cure. I invite them to call on me, and I w'ill show them the scars. lean be found in Tallapoosa Countv. Alabama. one mile from Stoe’s Ferry. RENAJATI HUGHES. The Yellow Dock aud Sarsaparilla is peculiarly adap ted for females of dei cate health, resulting frem ir regularities of menstrual discharges, and other diseases peculiar to their sex. The proprietor has in his posses sion a great number of certificates of cures performed of the above description. We assure the afflicted, that a bottle or two ot l)r. Guysott’s Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla will at once regulate those diffi culties and renew the natural energies. ■sw Put up in quart bottles.—Price $1 per bottk Sold, Wholesale and Retail, by SCOYIL & MEAD, 111 Chartres-st., New Orleans, General Agents for the Souther ? ROGERS, junelß SSOO CHALLENGE. HOBENSACK’S WORM SYRUP.— An article founded upon Scientific Principles, compound j ed with purely Vegetable substances, being per* ! fectly safe when taken, and has never been known |to fail in curing the most obstinate case. Wonus jtean never exist when this remedy is once used, | from the fact that it not only destroys them but removes all the slime and mucus which may re main. THE TAPE WORM. This worm is the most difficult one to destroy of all that inhabit the human body. It grows to an i almost indefinite length, and becoming so coiled i and fastened in the intestines and stomach as to ! produce fits, St. Vitus’ Dance, Ac., which is the cause of many going to the grave, not believing that these complaints have their origin from the Tape Worm ; consequently they do not use the proper medicines for their disease. To those who | are afflicted with this awful foe to health, I recom j mend the use of my W orm Syrup, and Liver,Pills, | the Syrup to be taken in doses of two table'spoon i fuls three times a day, then take from five to eight I of my Liver Pills, to dislodge and pass the worm. By strictly following these directions, the most ob stinate cases of Tape Worm can be speedily cured. ROUND OR STOMACH WORM. This worm is usually found in the small intes tines, and is the worm most common to children, yet it is not entirely confined to them, as adults have frequently been known to suffer with them. The Symptoms most prominent while affected with this worm, aro hardness and fullness of the belly, slimy stools, looseness of the bowels, picking at the ! nose, a blueish streak under the eyes, Ac. If you or any of your children have any of tho above symptoms, HOBENSACK’S WORM SYRUP can safely be depended upon—by using it you have a certain, safe, and speedy cure; and if after using t according to the directions,* the patient is not restored to boalth, and tho worms thoroughly era dicated from thesystom, youeau rest assurod there is no remody beyond tho grave, as for f iil, there is no such word as fail with those who use my Worm Syrup. ASCARIDES OR SMALL THREAD WORMS These worms, to which tho human system is lia ble, are the most troublesmc of all others. 'They are generally to bo foundin tho rectum, and if al lowed to remain, from the irritation they produce, lay the foundation for serious disorders, such as inflammation of the bowels, and other derange ments of the stomach. The best and safest medi cine that can be used is IIOBENSACK S WORM SYRUP. Such is the astonishing power of my medicines over Ascaradies, that I defy any one to produce a case where my Worm Syrup and Liver Pills are recommended to be used they will not cure, All that is necessary is to use the Syrup in accord ance with directions on each bottle; and in case a gentle purgative is required in order to allay tne irritation they produce, the Liver Pills by their sympathizing action and healthy operation upon the bowels, is the most pleasant medicine that can be taken. SEWING MACHINES, WHICII are the only Sewing Maehinos of any utility which can be used without making the owner liable to a suit for infringement of pa tented privileges are still sold at reasonable prices, ami with unquestioned right. Having terminated our' legal controversy with Elias Howe, Jr , and procured his full license to use his invention, there is not the slightest claim that our machines infringe any other patent.
