HOBENNAI K’S W l)k VI SYRUP.—An article founded upon Scientific Principles, compound ed with purely Vegetable substances, being per fectly safe when taken, arid has never been known to fail in curing the xflost obstinate cam. Worms can never exist when this remedy is once used, from the fact that it riot only destroys them but removes all the slime and mucus which may re main. THE TAPE WORM. This worm is the most difficult ono to destroy of all that inhabit tho human body. It grows to-an almost indefinite length, and becoming so coiled and fastonpd in the intestines and stomach as to produce fits, St. Vitus’ Dance, Ac., which is the cause of many going to the grave, not believing that these complaints have their origin from the Tape Worm ; consequently they do not uso the proper medicine* for their disease. To those who are afflicted with this awful foe to health, I recom . mend the use of my W orm Syrup, and Liver,Pills, tho Syrup to he taken in doses of two table spoon fuls three times a day, then take from five to eight of my Liver Pills, to dislodge and pass the worm. By strictly following these directions, the most ob stinate cases of Tape Worm can be speedily cured. ROUND OR STOMACH WORM. This worm is usually found in tho small intes tines, and is the worm most common to children, yet it is not entirely confined to them, as adults have frequently been known to suffer with them. "The Symptoms most prominent while affected with this worm, are hardness and fullness of the belly, slimy stools, looseness of the b.owels, picking at the nose, a blucish streak under tho eyes, Ac. If you or any of your children have any of the above symptoms, HOBENSACK’S WORM SYRUP can safely be depended upon—by using it you have a certain, safe, and speedy cure; and if after using t according to tho directions, the patient is not restored to health, and the worms thoroughly era dicated from the system, you can rest assured there is no remedy beyond tho grave, as for fail, there is no such word as fail with those who use my Worm Syrup. ASCARIDES OR SMALL THREAD WORMS Those worms, to which the human system is lia ble, are tho most troublesme of all others. They are generally to be foundin tho rectum, and if al lowed to remain, from the irritation they produce, lay tho foundation for serious disorders, such as inflammation of the bowels, and other derange ments of thc-gtomaoh. The best and safest medi cine that can be used is HOBENSACK’S WORM SYRUP. Such is the astonishing power of my medicines over Ascaradies, that I defy any ono to produce a case where my Worm Syrup and Liver Pills are recommended to be used they will not cure, All that is necessary is to use the Syrup in accord ance with directions on each bottle; and in case a gentle purgative is required in order to allay tne irritation they produce, the Liver Pills by their sympathizing action and healthy operation upon the bowels, is the most pleasant medicine that can be taken. SINGER’S SEWING MACHINES, \ITHICH are the only Sewing Machines of any V * utility which can bo used without making the owner liable to a suit for infringement of pa tented privileges are still sold at reasonable prices, and tenth unquestioned right. Having terminated our legal controversy with Elias Howe, Jr, and procured his full license to use his invention, there is not the slightest claim that our machines infringe any other patent. The right to use the Machines which we have sold, and shall hereafter sell, is unquestionable. We own ten distinct patents on Sewing Machines, covering all the nice points of the invention, and all the Machines of other manufacturers infringe one or more of them. Our patent securing the spring wherebv the cloth, Ac., is hold to the feed ing apparatus by a yielding pressure, is infringed by all the Machines now offered in the market. Those who buy the inferior and piratical machines, are hereby distinctly apprised that we shall com pel them to pay us for the privilege of using them. rights will henceforth be rigidly enforced. lhe immense superiority of Singer’s Sewing Machines has been completely established. They are of universal application—the same Machine doing all kinds of work, and doing it perfectly. .. > They are not only superior in contrivance, but un-dfll equalled in mechanical finish. They perform all work required, and continue to do it without get ting out of order. We desire to call attention rSfr tieularly to our new Machines to sow with a tingle thread, which, by ample trials, have beeu proved superior to al( others sos stiching linen and all very thin fabrics—also for sewing leather, either with a waxed thread or silk—and for quilting linings.
