Styfrml Ifltlffs. Mr Female School.— The Misses Sedg wick propose to open a School for Young Ladies, on Monday, the 20th inst. Their aim will.be to combine with a thorough, intellectual eiucaiton such moral and religious culture as wiil lead their pupils to the formation ot those traits of character without which the highost mental endow ments are worse than useless. The course of instruction will include the Latin and French Languages. Terms from 10 to S2O, according to the ages and requirements of the pupils. The time and place of teaching will be made known in a few days. The case was that of a young lady who had been very sick for eightyoars, ani had consulted a num ber of physioiaus, who bad treated it as one of Prolapsus Uteri. Dr. Butler was then called in. ! and for a time believed with his predecessors that 1 it was u caso of Prolapsus. He was, however, j soon forced to tho conclusion that his patient was suffering from worms, and after much persuasion, prevailed upon her to take two doses of Dr. M'Lane’s Vermifuge. This medicine had the ef fect of removing from her a countless number of tho largest siz» As er she passed them, her "hoalth immediately returned, tho is since mar ried, and continues to enjoy excellent health.
