'r,t< —We seldom recommend a manufac
tured medicine, believing that, in most
cases, nature perfects a cure more rapidly and ef
fectually than can bo accomplished by the vegeta
bles and minerals of medical science. But in the
matter of dyspepsia, there are chronic features
about it, which, very often, defy all the efforts of
nature to create a bealthy action of the digestive
organs, and it not üßfrequently happens that thous
ands suffesfor years, diseased both in body and in
mind, from indigestion and its kindred ills. To
such, Hoofland’s Gorman Bitters, prepared by Dr.
C. M. Jackson, are truly a most valuable prepara
tion. It is a tonic medicine, giving a health? ac
tion to the stoutheh, and will be found highly ser
viceable at all seasons, but especially during the
spring. Dyspepsia can only be cured byaprtient
perseverance in one course of treatment; and to all
those suffering-under this sad malady we would re
commend an application to the depot of Hoofland’s
