The PECTORAL ELIXIR, is prepared from

CHALYBEATE
THE undersigned, thankful f«r the very
iiiiz liberal patronage extended to him since
the opening of the aboveestahli hment, in ,ll—
forms his friends and the traveling public, that his
House will be re-opened on the 20th Mav. In ad
dition to the many comfortsand amusemorts affor
ded his guests heretofore, the subscriber has
Improved and enlarged his in
rnich a manner as enables him to say that he can
accommodate all who may favor hwn with a visit,
and render their stay agreable und satisfactory in
every respect. It matters not whether the traveler
is in search of health, amusement—either or both—
tho Chalybeate is the place at which his wants can
be satisfied.
The Waters are fine. “Chalybeate and Sulphur,' 5
and will cure as many diseases as aay one person
ought to have.
THE BATHS are excellent, and arranged with a
l view to comfort. Tho quantity of Water is not
I quite as great in volume as that discharged by
Niagara, but them is plenty and to spare for the ab
lutions of any number of Bathers uot engaged in
ditching for Gas Works, or operating in Coal Holes;
and as this is not tho class of visitors who have
heretofore found the Chalybeate, the promiotor
trusts that his friends will find no scarcity of that
necessary element of navigation. White he will
have oceans of water for his * friends,
be will remember to keep a good supply of WINES
for those who prefer a spirit level to a’water course,
lest too great a tendency to Hydropathy might ,
cause them to bo regarded as * soakers.” In a
word, the proprietor h is been crowded every season
since he has had charge of the Springs ; and as ho
feels satisfied shat all who have called on him will
give good report, send their friends, and call again
when they pass thia way, he is dotcunined to leave
nothing undone to keep his pla -e “right side up.”
TO INVALIDS good fare and good cheer are as
necessary a8 good water, and ns none of these
thing* are particularly disagreeable even to such,
as from their healthfulness, are travelling certifi- .
cates of the salubrity of the land they live in, the
subscriber feels that ho is safe in snying the Chaly
beate and its Proprietor are the elements “to drive
dull care away.”
From Geneva, on the Railroad twenty miles

At West Point, on the Montgomery Railroad, at
