Be Happy!
Happy the girl, or woman, who has never suffered from
any of the diseases of womanhood! Or, if she has been a
sufferer, happy is she if she has learned of the wonderful
benefits of Cardui, the woman's tonic!
Cardui is a gentle, tonic remedy, for women’s ailments.
It is a natural medicine—safe, harmless, purely vegetable.
It has been in successful use for more than 50 years, It
has cured thousands. It should do the same for you,
TAKE = The
ARDUT Woman's Tonic
Mrs. Mary Neely, of Denver, Tenn., says, “I think
there is no tonic on earth, as good as Cardui. I used it
with the very best results, I had backache and nearly
everything a woman could suffer with, until I took Cardui.
Now, I feel better than I have for two years. 1 shall
always recommend Cardui to other suffering women, I
can’t praise it too highly. As a medicine for weak, tired,
worn-out women, Cardui is safe and reliable. Try it, today.

After Baltimore
Legisiature Will Convene
On Wednesday for Fifty
days.
Atlanta, June 23.—While there
seems little probability of the
legislature meeting Wednesday
and adjourning immediately until
the Baltimore cozvention has
wound up its work, there is little
doubt that no very important
legislation will be taken up until
week after next.
Governor Brown’s annual mes.
sage will go in Wednesdav, and it
1s expected that the first day’s
session will be brief, The gover
nor will recommend principally
the things he has advocated right
along, and it 1s understood that
there will be little of an entirely
new nature in the paper.
If this session attends to all the

important matters coming before
it in the fifty days, it will have
quite enough to keep it busy.
Much of the legislation passed last
summer will need curing of serious
defects, and time will be necessary
in doing this. Half a dozen im
portant bills were faulty and will
bave the kinks jerked out of them.
The congressional reapportion
ment bill had silly blunders in It—
such for instance, as placing Put
nam couuty in the Seventh dis
trics. There have been rumors to
the effect that a big tight will be
on the bill itself when it is brought
up to amend the quirks out of it.
"~ There are also defects in the
White eduocational bill to be
straightened out, and Game War
den Mercer and Labor Commis
sioner Stanley want to see some
salary attached to their jobs, Both
have been working ever since they
went into office without pay.
Warden Mercer isn’c fretting
much beeause he has some $14,-
000 in bank, ccllected from hun
ters last season and he opines this
won’t get into the state’s strong
box untii he’s 'got his money out
of the same.
