Miss Beulah Mashburn, of Blakely, arrived in the city yes terday to spend several days with her cousin,,Miss Jennie Mashburn, who is entertaining a large num ber ot friends in her honor at Bowen’s Mill today. Mrs. S. F. Stewart has gone to Newtown, Ind., to visit her sis ter, Mrs. M. Campbell, who was very seriously injured several weeks ago. Mrs. Campbell has visited here and has many friends who wish her a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Adams have vacated the L. F. Thompsonl place cn South Lee Street, and are now resing on West Palm St. Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Mingledorf will oceupy the palatial home va cated by Mr. Adams. The manv friends of Miss Isla Green, who was operated on for appendicitis in an Atlanta hospital the first of the week, will be interested to know that the operation has proven sucess ful and Miss Green is now on thel road to recovery. Hon. Wright T. Paulk has re turned from Atlanta, the legisla ture having adjourned for the isession. Hon. Miss ‘Hoffman was in Norman Park nursing a patient with fever andj was herself taken so very ill that it was necessary for her to give up the patient and return to the' city. Her many friends wish her a speedy recovery. Mrs. M. P. Broughton and Miss Leona Garbutt left Wednes nesday for an extended trip to New York and Baltimore. Miss Garbutt’s many friends will re gret to know she won’t return to Fitzgerald, but iz future will make her home in Virginia.
