Moonlight Picnic
M Lucy Lake
The weekly moonlight picnics
at Lucy Lake are indeed quite
the thing this hot weather,
and that experiment week
before last when the Ocilla
Southern operated grspecial train
to the Lake seemed to hit the ‘
spot exactly, for every since our
people have regretted that Thurs
day comes once a week in
stead of twice. The crowd last
Thursday greatly exceeded the‘
one of the week. before, and the‘
prediction is that the biggest
crowd on record will turn out this
coming Thursday. The special|
train will leave the A., B. & A..
depot at 6:30 p. m., returning at
11, The round trip costs only
50¢c, which amounts to a fraction
of a cent over one cent a mile.
There’s plenty of good music at
Luecy Lake and dancing isindulg
ed in freely, and the swimming
pool is a cracker-jack. Join the
crowd next Thursday night.
Mr. Steve Coleman, of Way
cross, was in the city yesterday.
