NorE :—Not less than 5 bushels of the corn to be placed on
exhibition at the Fair, in attractive form. Persons who propose
to compete for the premums must have he acre measured in
the presence of two witnesses and affidavit made of the same
in he presence of a magistrate. When the crop is harvested, it
must be done in the presence of at least two witnesses who shall
wualify as to the actual quantity of corn, in the ear, produced
on said acre. The statement of he winesses shall be in the form
of a duly attested affidavit. A careful statement of the time
and method of preparing the land, the variety of seed corn
used, he kind or bran of fertilizer used—quantity per acre,
whether applied just before planting or supplied as the plants
crop. 'A copy of each of the three (3) required statements
must be furnished to the President at the time of entering the
exhibit.

SPECIAL RULES.
1. Entries must be made in writing on entry blank furnish
ed by the Fair Association, address to Ben Hill Fair Associa
tion, Fitzgerald, Ga., and should be mailed not later then
Nov. 15. Entries must be accompanied by the amount of en
trance fees, either express, money order, xchange or check
made payable to the Bn Hill Fair Association. A spcial entry
blank has been prepared for the Poultry Department, and will
be mailed on application.
2. An entry fee of 25 cents will be charged for each bird,
and 25 cents per pair of pigeons on exhibition. The same
birds cannat compete in individual lots and as part of breeding
pen. A separate entry will be required for breeding pens.
3. All bir@s wmust positively be banded and the leg number
properly entcred on the entry blank this being necessary to in
sure return of all birds to their owners.
4. Birds entered in pens must be shipped in separate coops
frim single birds, and plainly marked so as to avoid mitakes.
5 All bird for exhibition shill be in place not later than 10
o'clock a. m., Monday Nov. 19. Birds unavoidably detained in
transit may be admitted at the discretion of the Superintendant
in charge.
