Stubbs, Curtis Barker and Miles Rigsby, all citizens of Houston county, on the charge of con -piracy and violation of the enforcement set. | The circumstances which led to thes«! arrests are related to ds as follows: A wiirr.int was issued for the arrest of one ioseph Menard, on the charge of stealing cotton, and placed in the hands of the Sheriff of the county for execution. The Sheriff deputized the above-named gentlemen, who lived in the same neigh boring i with Menard, to make the arrest, hot they did not succeed in doing so.
