Hold man failed to eome up and answer the charge of |^ng drunk. He had no forfeit up and could afford to re main away. ‘ Dan Jenkins was up for fighting. This was at the i instance of Dan’s wife, who claimed that Dan had caressed her in a manner thkt was not busbandlike and bland, ahe said Dan struck her in the eye and bit her on the cheek, and they had a fight, right then and there. Dan told a difficult tale about the matter. Hd said that he stood all the cursing and ubuae from his wife that he could stand, and then took her politely by the urn and flung her acroes the street.
