This was received by a torna do of applause, during which Mr. W„ satisfied by such an endorsement of his "temerity,” pantomimed his thanks and retired. We have not time at present to refer, at length, to the acting, but must content onrsclvev with merely stating, what everybody who was present knows, that Mrs. Watkins played tbe heroine most charmingly—investing it with all the archness, simplicity and feeling which so characterises this lady’s extremely natural stylo of outing. Her rendering of the beautiful lollad from which the drama takes its name, was a gem in itself, and fully merited the hearty encore it re ceived. Of Mr. Watkins, it is only nec essary to record that his acting of "Ter ence'* was worth the applause it elicited from the crowded audienco. To our read ers wo would say, if you desire to enjoy a superb drama, superbly acted, go and see Mr. and Mrs. Watkins in "Kathleen Mavoumeeq”—which, from tho favora ble reception of the evening, will no doubt keep tho bills for some time. . — l Monument to a Colored Mnn, In passing Mr. James O'Brien’s mar ble-yard. on Cherry street, a few days ago, ottr attention was called to a very neat granite monument, bearing the fol lowing inscription: "To tho Memory of Richard Mason.
