Letters were read from S. S. Cox, Lieu-
tenant Governor Robinson and Alexander
Stephens, expressing sympathy with the
object of the meeting, and regretting in
ability to be present. A letter was also
circular in section, one hundred and fifty
feet in diameter at the base, diminishing
to thirty feet at tho top. It is proposed
to havo spiral staircases winding around
