Dnring tho week at the Cotton Exchange there
ha* been more doing, and tbe general market lias
presented an improved tone. Foreign advices
were of a more favorable and encouraging charac
ter and business from shippers was quite satis
factory. For future delivery dealings have been
quite large and prices ruled higher, and since
Thursday have been well supported. Later
months, which enter into the new crop, show
somo irregularity and are not very largely dealt
in. as there is apparently a want of confidence in
the values.
