greatly. It also grently improves my digestion.

SAFE AND SURE.
Mr H R feTBYfss
In 1S72 your Vt-getine waa recommended to me.
and yielding to the remissions of a friend. I con*
senicd to try it. At the timo 1 was suffering
from ceneeal debility and nervous prostration,
superinduced by o\erwork and irregular habits.
Its wonderful strengthening and curative prop
erties scorned to affect my debilitated system
from tha first dose; and uuder its persistent uso
I rapidly recovered, gaining more than usual
health and good feeling. Since then I havo not
hesitated to givo Vegetine xnj most unqualified
endorsement as being a safe, sure, and powerful
agent in pmnoting health and restorirglho
wasted system to new life an 1 energy. Yegetlno

The following letter from Rev G W Mansfield,
formerly pastor o! the Methodist Episcopal
Church, Hydo Park, and ot present bottled in
Lowell, must convince every ono who read* his
letter of tbe wonderful curative qualities of Veg*
ctine as a thorough cleanser and purifier ot the
blood.
I! vpk Pare, Mass. Feb 15,1870.
Ms IIRSTSYCas.
Dear Sir—At tout ten years ago my health fail
ed through the depleting effects of dyspepsia;
litany a year later 1 was attacked by typhoid
fever in its worst form. It settled in my back,
and took tho form of a large deep seated abscess,
which wns flftccn men’hi ingathering. 1 ii't.i
two surgical operations by the best skill m tho
State, but received no permanent euro. 1 suffer
ed great pain at times, and was constantly wo»k-
ened by a profuse discharge. 1 also lost small
pieces ot bono at diflerent times.
Matters ran on thus about sovod years,‘till
May. 1874. when a friend recommended mo to go
to y our office, and talk with you of tho virtue of
Vegetmo. 1 did so, and by your kindness passed
through your tnan.i’aricry. noting the ingrcili
ents. etc, by which your remedy is produced.
By what I saw aud heard I gained some confl-
donee in V*gotme.
I commenced taking it scon after.bnt folt worse
from its effecos; still i persevered, and socn felt
it was benefiting me in other respects. Yet I did
not sco tho result* I desired till I hud taken it
faithfnlly for a littlo moro than a year, when tho
dilllcultv in the back wot cured; and for nine
months I havo enjoyed the best of health.
I havo in that time gained twenty -flvo pounds
of llcah, being heavier than ever before in my
life, and I was Dover moro able to perform labor
than now.
Daring the past few weeks I had a scrofulous
swelling as lar^e as my fist gather on another
part of my body.
I took Yefcetino faithfully, and it removed it
level with theiurfacein a month. I think 1
should have boen cured of my main trouble
aconer if I had taken larger doses, after having
become accustomed to its effects.
Let your patrons troubled with scrof ala or kid
ney disease understand that it takes timo to euro
chronic diseases; ard, if they will patiently take
Vccetine.it will, in my judgment, care them.
With great obligations I am
Yours very truly,
G \V MANSFIELD,
