T HE ANNUAL CONVENTION of the Stock
holders of the Georgia Railroad and Back
ing Company will take place iu Augusta at 10
o’c'ockam.on WEDNdSDAY, May 14th, 1879.
Stockholders desiring to attend may procure
passes for tbemielvci and families by exhibiting
their Certificate* ot Stock to Agent at nearest
Depot, and filling out and signing an applica
tion for the passes needed.
To avoid over-crowding the trains, to the dis
comfort and danger of all. passes will be limited
strictly to the legal family of each owner of
stock, to wit: Husband or wile, sons under
age, and unmarried daughters. Each pass will
bo good only lor the single person namad on it,
and conductor* will collect fare if presented by
any other perron. They will be good to Augusta
only on May 12th to 14th inclusive, and to re
turn 14,h to 17th inclusive, and no extension of
time can be granted. ApDly for your pasaos
early. Certificates of 8tock will not be recog
nized for passage by copduotors.

account of Licenses that they must eithor pay

Clerk of the Superior Court for tbe faithful pay
ment of said moneys upon the decision of the
Supreme Court being rendered.
