Mr. J. Gordon Bradley, of this place,
a young gentleman of rare ability and
information, haa invented a chair, which
ia worthy ot notice.

The stool rests on rockers, at the back
of the rockers, are fastened two iron sup
ports or props; which when placed up
right upon the floor, make tho chair an
invalid or stationary chair.
Tbe front piece is made adjustable by
a thumb screw, working on either aide in
slot* Tbe foot piece can b* lengthened
to suit the occupant, and by mean* of
hinge* can be opened and shut. It is
made strong. Cane seat an 1 back. The
hardware of it is malleable iron.
Mr. Bradley claim* for the chair its
eroat simplicity of construction, com
bined with durability. It* cheapness
