The New England Strike.
Fall Kiter, July 12.—The mills nav^
filled up rapidly with spinners th a wetk
and quite lirge delegations arrive daily.

leave tbe town, but there ia no denying
the fact that the manufacturers are get
ting the bes: of the strike eo far as run
ning tne mills is concerned.
Ozeot tbe manufacturers stated last
night that after careful inquiry at all the
mills he found forty-three percent of tha
spinning machinery in the city is in
operation. Several of tha mills have
erected cheap boarding bonses in tha
mill-yards, and as the new comers are
kept entirely free from the strikers, the
carporations have feusd little difficulty in
filling up, aud it is probibid hit next
week qjite a number cf mills will be
